A new XE trim level now slots between the standard and XE-V6 models. Compared to the standard model, the XE adds dual outside mirrors, styled steel wheels with trim rings, a sliding rear window and cloth seating. A Value Truck package can be added to XEs that includes air conditioning, an AM/FM cassette stereo, chrome wheels and trim, exterior body graphics, power mirrors, a digital clock and full instrumentation. The XE also offers an optional four-speed automatic transmisssion. All trim levels get a refreshed interior with a more carlike dashboard design and a four-spoke steering wheel.
